On Jan. 13, unofficial sources claim that over 300,000 people from across the United States flocked towards the nation’s capital, Washington D.C., to show their support for the Palestinian people.
This came after mass demonstrations were organized around the globe to demand a ceasefire in the ongoing Hamas-Israeli war since Oct. 7, when Hamas invaded Southern Israel, killing 1,200 Israelis, roughly 800 of whom were civilians, according to the Israeli Defense Force.
Since then, Israel launched a war against Hamas, which is diminishing Israel’s reputation globally as harsh critics call Israel’s conduct in the war as potential war crimes and breaches of international law.
The Pro-Palestinian demonstrations have only gotten larger as more news from Gaza reaches the public.
