Shepherd Men’s Tennis falls to University of Charleston at home

On Friday afternoon, the Rams faced off against the Golden Eagles at home for Mountain East Conference action. The face-off between the teams featured nine total matchups, with three doubles matches and 6 singles matchups. The Shepherd team lost each matchup on the day dropping their record to 7-6, 2-1 in conference play.

Rams freshman Carter Davis, who was named MEC player of the week on April 4, lost both sets against Golden Eagle senior Alec Foote 6-4, and 7-5.

Another notable matchup occurred with Ben Lakemen of the Golden Eagles defeating Rams senior Grant Davis by default.

The Rams next game is at home against Millersville University April 9, at 11a.m.
