Last night, April 8th, Relay For Life of Shepherd University put on their annual event to raise money for cancer research.

Throughout the night, games such as dancing, musical chairs, lip syncing battles, and trivia took place to help keep those supporting the event awake.

Students and community members supporting the event had the opportunity to put names of cancer fighters on illuminaries in memory or support of that individual.

Each name on each bag was read out loud in honor of those who have fought and are fighting cancer.

A candle was lit for a past art professor of Shepherd who is currently fighting the disease.
