(THE PICKET) – Shepherd University’s Black Student Union and Greek organization Phi Kappa Tau will be collaborating in honor of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, Jan. 18. In gratitude of Martin Luther King paving the way for future generations to come, the two organizations are meeting at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitors center at 10 a.m., where they will then travel to School House Ridge South to start their Trail Mulching Project. All are encouraged to come and participate in giving back to the community while simultaneously earning community service hours.
