Shepherd University to host football watch party in Storer Ballroom

(THE PICKET)—Shepherd University students have a chance to watch the Rams football team play a prime time game under the lights at Fairmont State University tonight at 7 p.m. during a football watch party.

The game will be broadcast on the projector in the Storer Ballroom on the third floor of the Student Center.  The event will begin at kickoff, which is 7 p.m. There is no admission fee, and complementary popcorn will be available for all people who attend the event.

“I think it’s a great way to support the team and bond with your fellow classmates,” sophomore Kelsey Miller said when asked how she felt about the football watch party.

“If they do this for all away games it would have been better, but Thursday nights are too busy with schoolwork,” sophomore Nate Saufley added.
