Men’s Basketball

March 25th– The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today that senior forward Chad Moore of the Shepherd University men’s basketball team will participate in the 2013 Reese’s® Division II College All-Star game. Moore is the first ever Shepherd player selected for this honor.

 

The Reese’s Division II College All-Star game will be played on Friday, March 29, at 7:00 p.m. at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

Football 

March 25th– Tickets are now on sale for the annual Shepherd University Football Awards Banquet. The banquet will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at the Shepherd University Wellness Center. Tickets are $25 per person. The Rams will be honored for their success last season and a highlight film will be shown.

 

March 26thShepherd football will be hosting a shotgun shootout sporting clay shoot on Saturday, April 13th at the Prospect Hall Shooting Club in Kearneysville, West Virginia. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Shooting begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will follow after and is included in the registration fee.

 

March 28thThe Shepherd University football team will host two scrimmages over the next few weeks. The annual Spring Game will be on Saturday, April 6 with a noon kickoff. The final scrimmage will be on Friday, April 12 at a time not yet determined. All scrimmages will be at Ram Stadium.

 

Softball

The Shepherd University softball team will be hosting an alumnae game following the 1 p.m. Shepherd-Charleston doubleheader on April 20. A reception with beverages and appetizers will be held after the alumnae game at Captain Benders Tavern in Sharpsburg, Maryland.
