(THE PICKET) —The Shepherd Rams women’s soccer team lost their first game of the season Tuesday, Sept. 8, to the Notre Dame College Falcons.
The Rams defense and goalie kept the Falcons in check only allowing one goal, but that goal ended up being the deciding factor in a 1-0 final score.
The lone goal in the game came in the 29th minute from Notre Dame’s Alex Defilippo.
The Rams were led in shots by Taylor Harwood and Lexi Vondrak who had two shots each. The Falcons leading shooter was Norah Barnes with three.

The rams will play again Friday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m. in their home opener against Wheeling Jesuit University.
