Volleyball Downed in Ohio

The Shepherd University Volleyball team traveled to Urbana University of Ohio on Friday, Oct. 28, and was defeated in four sets (23-25, 25-21, 17-25, 13-25).

Amanda Snowden led the team with 11 kills, followed by Peyton Lindblad who had nine. Christine Jackson had five blocks and Imani Major had 11 digs.

Saturday, Oct. 29, the Rams traveled to South Euclid to take on Notre Dame College. Shepherd was shut out in three sets (20-25, 21-25, 24-26).

Lindblad and Jaila Bell both had 11 kills for the Rams. Seone Goode had five blocks, while Bell and Kelsey Anderson both had 11 digs.

Shepherd sits with a record of 8-18 overall and 3-9 in the Mountain East Conference. The Rams are currently stuck in a five-game losing streak. They hope to break that on Nov. 1 when they host Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. match.
