Shepherdstown, W.Va., – The Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their annual Apple Butter Festival on Saturday, October 26. There will be a breakfast buffet from 6 a.m. – 11 a.m., arts and crafts, apple butter and a bake sale.
The Apple Butter Festival is a fundraising event for the Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department.
The department is seeking volunteers to assist with preparing apples on Monday, Oct. 21. On Saturday, Oct. 26, the department will need volunteers with firing the kettles and stirring the apples all day.
Douglas Pittinger of the Shepherdstown Volunteer Fire Department said, “Any help given to us during the entire week or on Saturday will be greatly appreciated by our members.”
“There will be lots of fun, not all work, so come and join us in your spare time for a worthwhile community cause,” Pittinger said.
The Apple Butter Festival will be held at the fire department located at 8052 Martinsburg Pike.
