Shepherd’s Men’s Soccer Team Falls to Slippery Rock

Shepherdstown, W.Va. — On Saturday, Slippery Rock men’s soccer (3-2-2) outlasted the Rams (1-6-0) 2-0 in action at Shepherd.

After a goal by freshman forward Joey Moeller at the 24:36 mark, the Rock took a 1-0 lead going into the break. The Rock added onto their lead with a second-half goal from Mo Kanani.

Junior goalkeeper Billy Woods recorded six saves for the Rams while Hossam Aly recorded three for The Rock. Senior Shamar Robinson and Junior Jonatan Andrade led the Rams in shots with a pair each.

Slippery Rock posted an advantage in shots (13-7), corner kicks (2-1), and shots on goal (9-4).

The Rams return to action on Wednesday where they will face West Chester at 3:30 p.m. in Shepherdstown.
