Caroline Kirkpatrick, a junior secondary English education major, is thankful for her family. “Since my sister lives in Morgantown and I live on campus, we don’t get to spend a lot of time as a family. My extended family lives in Ohio and Thanksgiving gives us a chance to go visit and spend time with them. We all get to talk about school and fun things we do and life in general and things you take for granted unless your family doesn’t live near by. And the food is always great when 50 people cook together. Peanut butter pie is the bomb.”

Hayleigh McAllister, a junior English major with a creative writing concentration, said that she is thankful for her friends, family, and the fact that she has a roof over her head. “I’m thankful that I wake up healthy everyday.”

Julia Athey, a junior English literature and business double major, said that she is thankful for her family and friends. “Oh and that my sister got into college!”
