The Rams Volleyball dropped to a sub .500 record Tuesday night losing 3 out of 4 sets to the Indian University of Pennsylvania Hawks. The Rams took set three,26-24, but were defeated in sets one, 25-13, two, 25-23, and four, 27-25.
Outside hitter Peyton Lindblad led the Rams with 12 kills while outside hitter Amanda Snowden added 11 kills of her own. Setter Becca Kern had 23 assists and eight digs. Libero Imani Major recorded 13 digs, while libero Kelsey Anderson added 10 for Shepherd. The Rams finished with three aces on the night compared to the Hawks 4.
Shepherd will play again Friday when they travel to the Urbana Tournament to face Malone at 9 a.m. and Armstrong State at 5 p.m.
