The 1-7 Rams men’s soccer team welcomed the fifth ranked Charleston University Golden Eagles Saturday, and this one sided affair proved why the Golden eagles have jumped so high in the standings.
The Rams kept Charleston in check for the first half only allowing one goal and taking a manageable 1-0 deficit into the locker room.
The second half was a different story, with Charleston asserting their dominance scoring eight times, including a hat trick from the Eagles Will Roberts.
The Rams were dominated in every category Saturday including a very lopsided 37-2 shot total.
Shepherd will take the field again Oct. 4 hosting University of Pittsburg Johnstown at 2:30.
