Shepherd Athletics set to join Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for upcoming 2018-2019 season

The Shepherd University Athletic Department held a press conference at noon today to officially announce the move to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for the upcoming 2018-2019 athletic seasons. The transition out of the Mountain East Conference was officially announced on June 7. by the PSAC themselves on their website, “The PSAC Board of Directors is very pleased to invite Shepherd as our next member,” board chair and East Stroudsburg University President Dr. Marcia G. Welsh announced.

The Rams will join Bloomsburg University, California University of Pennsylvania, Clarion University, East Stroudsburg University, Edinboro University, Gannon, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Kutztown University, Lock Haven University, Mansfield University, Mercyhurst, Millersville University, Seton Hill, Shippensburg University, Slippery Rock University, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and West Chester University in the Conference.
