In an email sent to Shepherd University faculty earlier today, Dr. Marcia Brand, the head of the new Presidential search committee dedicated to finding candidates for interim presidency when current University President Suzanne Shipley departs in June, announced that a website will launch in April featuring updates on her committee’s progress.
“We had an extremely positive, forward-driven discussion about the search processes and the future of the University,” said Brand. “While confidentiality as to individual applicants will be protected, there is a strong consensus for transparency in our processes.”
Brand went on to say that she is proud and grateful to work with the university community and that the search committee feels positive about the future.
