Women’s Soccer Shuts Out Fairmont State

Shepherd University’s Women’s Soccer team defeated Fairmont State 2-0 on Friday, Oct. 7.
Elisha Davis scored on a pass from Pachel Sefton at the 23 minute mark to give the Rams a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Lauren Drever scored an unassisted goal at the 81 minute mark to help lock in the victory. Christi LaBelle recorded six saves in the goal for Shepherd.
The Rams are now 4-5-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the Mountain East Conference. Shepherd will take the field on Sunday when they host Concord at 3:30 p.m. for the Breast Cancer Awareness game.
