Rams fall twice over the weekend

Shepherd Volleyball Falls Twice

Shepherd University fell to fifth-ranked Wheeling Jesuit on Friday, Oct. 7. The Rams were defeated in three sets: 12-25, 10-25, 10-25.

Peyton Lindblad led the Rams with eight kills, while Christine Jackson had four kills and one block. Imani Major and Kelsey Anderson both had six digs on the match.

On Saturday, Oct, 8, Rams fells at West Liberty in four sets: 21-25, 21-25, 25-21, 22-25.

Lindblad led the Rams in kills once again with 12 on the match. Grace Simmons had nine kills and five blocks while Jessica Karcz and Jaila Bell both had 16 digs.

These two losses put Rams at 7-13 overall and 2-4 in the Mountain East Conference. Shepherd takes the court again on Friday, Oct. 14 when they host West Virginia State at 7 p.m.
