Shepherd volleyball falls to Pitt-Johnstown

The Shepherd University volleyball team fell to University of Pittsburg at Johnstown Tuesday, Oct. 20. The Rams were defeated in three sets, 12-25, 16-25 and 21-25. With this loss, Shepherd fell to 10-11 overall, while Pitt-Johnstown improved to 20-3 overall.

Sophomore middle hitter Christine Jackson had seven kills, while senior outside hitter Taylor Allen added six kills. Sophomore libero/defensive specialist Kelsey Anderson and Senior outside hitter/libero Samantha Scroggins each posted 11 digs for the Rams. Freshman setters Becca Kern and Cyera Dixon combined to record 25 assists; Dixon with 14 and Kern with 11.

UPJ was led by Cameria Wierman, who had 12 kills and 13 digs, and Marissa Erminio, who added 10 kills.
