Shepherd to graduate 701 students this Saturday

This Saturday Shepherd University will graduate 701 students, 641 from undergrad programs, and 60 from graduate programs at its 145th commencement ceremony.

Dr. Paul Welch, A physician/nephrologist and president of the medical staff at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg will deliver the graduate commencement address at 11 a.m. in the Frank Center.

Paul T. McDermott, the president and chief executive officer of the Washington Real Estate Investment Trust in Washington, D.C., will deliver the undergraduate address in the Butcher Center at 1:50 p.m.

During the ceremony, the song “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban will be performed by Dr. Robert Tudor accompanied by Dr. Yu-Hsuan Liao.
