Shepherd Fans Go All Out for Ram’s Victory against Fairmont

In Shepherd’s game against the Fairmont Falcons, fans poured into the stadium as soon as the gates opened. Leaving almost no empty seats, the overflow crowd was encouraged to begin filling seats on the visitors side of the field. Shepherd students and their families came prepared for the fight against Fairmont in their Shepherd gear, with some even applying face paint to show their pride.

Even before the event began, families prepped in A lot and the surrounding field by tailgating and gathering excitement for the upcoming game. Many brought small grills for barbecue, coolers full of refreshments, and even played each other in corn hole.

There was never a dull moment in the stands for Shepherd, as the crowd was always cheering and encouraging our players. For a good portion of the first half, both teams found themselves tied at 10 points, but the fans knew Shepherd would pull through and didn’t let it dampen their spirit.

In the end, the abundance of people that filled the stands rooting for the Rams were not disappointed. The exciting game ended in a score of 27 to 17 with Shepherd taking the victory against the previously undefeated Fairmont Falcons.
