Despite a Slow Start, The Shepherd University Men’s Basketball Team Rolls Past Notre Dame

(The Picket-) Winning 67-60, The Ram’s begun gameplay slowly, leaving Notre Dame with a 26-10 lead on the rams within the first few minutes at their home court, Jan 9th.

The men kicked it up a notch leaving the score at 27-30 at halftime.

Senior Niam Muhammad scored 18 points, while junior AJ Carr scored 16.

Junior Steffen Davis shined as he scored all three pointers, adding 12 to the boards.

Winston Burgess, a sophomore hit several impressive dunks, adding 12 points.

Junior Skyler Roman scored five points, while junior Gavin McTavish added four to the boards.

Shepherd had a 46-35 advantage in rebounding. The Rams forced nine turnovers and committed nine.

The Rams continue gameplay on Saturday when they host Urbana for a 4 p.m. game.
