(THE PICKET) – Shepherdstown is taking a stand against suicides and will be hosting a walk to increase suicide awareness. The Out of the Darkness Community Walks will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Rumsey Monument Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The walk will commence at 5 p.m. and will last until 8 p.m.
Registration to join the walk can be done at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention website or Google Shepherdstown, West Virginia walk “Out Of The Darkness” to register and to learn more about the foundations, the cause and how to donate. Registration can be done up until Friday, the night before the event.
